Embrace the ◓ shades of grey
At Gradient, I help creative leaders meet tensions with more peace and ease.
The Gradient Way
Creative minds aren’t built for black and white thinking – they thrive in the shades of grey. At Gradient, I help you to explore nuance, lean into the complexity, and expand what’s possible.
My approach is grounded in the beliefs that:
→
WHEN YOU’RE LEARNING, YOU’RE MOST ALIVE —
I help you to stay curious, see things from new perspectives, and create space for clarity and growth.
→
YOUR BODY TELLS YOU WHAT IS RIGHT FOR YOU, BUT YOU NEED TO LISTEN —
through somatic practices, I help you increase your presence and reconnect with your intuition.
→
YOU ALWAYS HAVE A CHOICE –
Choosing how you show up is both powerful and possible. I help you reframe, experiment, and unlock new ways forward.
“When your goal is to learn, it isn’t what you do or did, it’s what you do next!”
—Daniel Goleman
About Me →
I’m an executive coach and design leader with over 20 years of experience across high growth tech companies and creative businesses. I’ve built products and led teams at Asana, Eventbrite, PlanGrid (acquired by Autodesk), and SoundCloud.
I started out as a visual artist, drawn to the details others often overlook. Product design became a space where I could channel that obsession into creative problem solving. But as I moved into leadership, I felt the constant pull between how things were done and how I wanted to do them. I was struggling to not lead IN ALL CAPS. I found my footing by recognizing how systems shaped my environment and by learning to see the shades of grey. And I found my voice by increasing my presence and authenticity.
I started coaching as a way to help others with similar leadership struggles. I deeply enjoy seeing people create space for themselves, reconnect with their intuition, and find peace amidst the tension. Clients describe my coaching style as high trust, energizing, and perspective-shifting.
Outside of work, I’m a musician, a mother, and a lifelong adventurer, currently based in Oakland, CA.
